It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our son, Cristian Lynden Kaiser, in December of 2012 at the age of 22.
Cris was born in Constanta, Romania on February 17, 1990 and became part of our family at the age of 8 months. He was a charming child with a wonderful sense of humour, and was easily loved by family and friends. Cris attended French Immersion school until the end of Grade 5 and completed his education at Wellington High in Mrs. Kissinger's alternate class. Cris was a talented musician, winning several awards at the high school level, including a scholarship to attend music camp at VIU. Mourning the loss of Cris are ourselves, his parents Mark and Lea, his family including Grandma Cae, Auntie Jan (Henry), Uncle Glenn (Kathryn), Aunt Candace (John), Aunt Maureen (John), Auntie Di, and Aunt Sue, as well as numerous cousins, especially Jill, with whom he shared a special bond. Cris also had a unique group of aunts and uncles, who shared a special place in his life and upbringing, as did his Romanian cousins, David and Rafie.
Cards and flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, we would suggest donations to the SPCA, as Cris had a very kind heart and loved animals. If you can spare a moment today, please say a prayer for Cris, tell a Cris story or revisit a special moment of his life that you may have shared. He is greatly missed and will remain imprinted on our hearts forever.
