December 7, 1954 - March 17, 2020
Craig Alexander Tuka, age 65, passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the Fort St John Hospital and went to be with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
He was born December 7th, 1954 in New Westminister, predeceased by parents Joe and Betty Tuka.
Craig will be dearly missed by sons Mike (Anne), Kyle (Jen), Ryan (Julia), Colton (Jennifer), the mother of two of his children Beatrice, brother Russ (Janet) and family, and dear friends.
Craig grew up in Coquitlam and graduated from Centennial Secondary class of 1971-72. Craig later found his love for sheet metal work and completed his apprenticeship through BCIT in Burnaby. Through that time he started working for the local 280 union, taking him across western Canada. Craig then moved to Vancouver Island residing in Courtenay. Where he took great joy as a loving husband and father. He worked for SD71 as a custodian and then went into HVAC technician, where he would retire in 2014.
Towards the end of his life he moved to northern BC, and enjoyed cherished time with his boys and his dog Maple. Craig worked semi-retired while enjoying his time in the north. He will be dearly remembered for his warm smile, contagious laugh and loving heart.
