Neil passed away peacefully at home Wednesday morning with family around him, exactly what he wanted. Born Feb 11, 1937 in Nanaimo to father John, mother Mary, he was 1 of 8 siblings. Of which, three survive.
Neil is survived by his loving wife married 55 years, Sjaan, his son Steven, and his daughters Carolyn and Corina. Including his adopted family of many which he cherished. You know who you all are! He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, who loved him dearly. He will be missed by all!
Neil lived and worked his whole life in Nanaimo, mostly at the Post Office, where he met what he would say were his family and friends to him.
Now dad looks over and protects us all.
