August 18, 1929 - January 3, 2021
Cliff was born on August 18, 1929 at Victoria, BC. He died peacefully at his home on January 3, 2021 surrounded by his dear friends, Charis and Mary, after a battle with cancer.
He leaves his sister, Velma Martin, his niece Kathy Mengede, his nephew, Kerry Martin and their families.
Cliff was a man of true convictions. His passion was for nature, both protecting it and immersing himself in it. He was a highly regarded land surveyor,
commercial fisherman, hunter, avid gardener and the list goes on.
But above all, he was a giver. Cliff's generosity to charities, particularly those associated with conservation, was remarkable. And for his friends and neighbours, home-grown vegetables in abundance was his currency of choice.
Cliff was laid to rest at Royal Oak Burial Park on January 16, 2021, close to his beloved parents, Clara Ann and James William Jackman. If desired, please donate to a conservation charity in Cliff Jackman's honour.
