It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Charles William Ransom. Charlie passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital on April 27th , 2022.
Predeceased by the love of his life Shirley and youngest son Michael Andrew (Mick). He was also predeceased by younger brothers Ron, Phil and Rob.
Charlie is survived by sons Larry (Maria), Bill (Lisa), and daughter Linda Voysey (Rod).
Charlie is also survived by sister Barb Norton (Pete), sister-in-law Sharon Poje and brother-in-law Ross Beadle (Lorraine) and their families.
Papa Charlie will be deeply missed by grandchildren Michael (Wendy) Melissa (Ken) Joel (Chrystal) Brad, Scott (Danielle), Jessica (Marcio), Jenny (Jason), Alexander, John, Ashton, Ryan, Ashley, Autumn, Meghan and numerous great-grand children.
Dad was a devoted family man, who loved watching, playing and coaching Lacrosse and hockey. Dad was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and exploring across Vancouver Island and BC and beyond.
We would like to thank dads home support caregivers and the staff at Tsawaayuus Rainbow Gardens Assisted Living Residence.
As requested by dad there will be no memorial service.
