Cassandra passed away suddenly at the age of 31. She is survived by her mother Marie Jones and stepfather Russel Lloyd- Jones; her children Kianna, Dylan, Shyanne, Lily, and Taitin; sisters Coral Beaudoin (Gowan) and Keera Jones; Grandparents Molly Laird and Bill Laird, Nora Jones, and Dana and Clare Atchison; Great Aunt Chrissy, Great Uncle Bill, and Great Aunt Linda; her Uncle Jacob (Michelle), Auntie Leanne, Uncle Sean, Aunt Tammy, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a whole extended family of wonderful and caring friends who have been an amazing support network for our family over the years.
Cassandra was predeceased by her infant son Trenton, her father Trevor Laird, and Uncle Troy Laird. Cassandra was a loving and devoted mother who lived for her kids. She was kind, compassionate, and had a great sense of humour. Even through the heavy burden of losing her father and son in recent years, she was always smiling and happy. Her passing leaves a huge hole in our family that can never be filled.
The outpouring of support from McDonalds, Save on Foods, the Fire Department, the Paramedics, the RCMP, doctors, nurses, friends, and people we are yet to meet, has been overwhelming and incredibly heartwarming during this tragic time for our family. It is from the generosity of you all that will make this transition in our family a little easier on us.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Parksville Lawn Bowling Club on Saturday, March 31st from 1 to 4 pm.
