Carolyn DeSorcy passed away on Dec. 4 after her cancer came back and spread faster than expected.
Carolyn was born in Montreal, worked in Toronto then moved to the west coast. She met Chuck in Sandspit and they were married in 1982 and soon moved to Campbell River where they raised their daughter Kira.
She spent many hours in her later years at her home away from home the Sundance Java Bar, where she met and made many friends.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Chuck, daughter Kira, brother Gerry's family, and sister in law Kathy's family, and the many people and animals she loved and extended her big heart to.
We are planning a celebration of life for everyone who loved Carolyn DeSorcy. The celebration will be after everyone's holiday seasons.
