With sadness the family announces the passing of Caroline May Smith on May 16, 2019.
Sweet Caroline is re-united with her bad-boy husband Stanley of 57 years. They are cruising the skies in the iconic Blue Angel.
The family is very grateful to those who made her final journey peaceful. Thank-you for all your support and kindness Char, Ingrid & Dr. Biglow. To the nurses at Nanaimo General's Palliative Care and Trillium Hospice, you were a blessing. And to Dr. van der Weyde, you hold a very special place in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bowser Legion on Friday, May 24th from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation in Caroline Smith's memory can be made to Oceanside Hospice.
