Carol Patricia James passed away May 14th after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully on a beautiful morning as the sun was rising, birds singing and her daughters by her side.
She is survived by her brother Ron and sister Diane, and leaves behind her 3 loving children, Kerry(Cheri),Laura(Mike) and Julia( Paul) as well as her 3 adoring grandchildren Hayley, Lily, and Emma Mae.
Carol loved helping people, and took great pride in her career choices throughout her lifetime as a nurse and social worker. Her great passion for helping others lead her to continue working after retirement at the Salvation Army soup kitchen as it gave her great fulfillment knowing that even in just a small way, she could help better someone's life.
Travel was also a great passion of hers, and she had spent the last 10 years or so exploring much of the world on cruises(mostly with her niece/cruise partner Michelle) and various vacations with family and friends.
Even at 72 years old she was up for any adventure and was looking forward to continuing her travels after COVID. Although her travels on Earth are no longer, we know she is at peace, and that the Lord has taken her on her next great eternal adventure.
Special thanks to all of her relatives, friends and church family for giving her all of your loving support. It meant so much to Carol and gave her the strength to fight for as long as she did.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time due to COVID restrictions.
