We are greatly saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Carol MacDonald.
Carol was a loving Mother, Nana, as well as a Soul-sister to a dynamic group of ladies. She had a very short but courageous battle with cancer, leaving us peacefully at the age of 75.
She was born an only child to Stanley and Rita MacDonald in Hamilton, Ontario. She married Thomas Birmingham, and together they had 2 daughters, Danielle and Diana (Brian), and 2 grandsons Christian and Justin.
Carol enjoyed a lifetime of adventure. She met several inspirational people along the way, who supported and helped to shape her journey. Mom strongly believed in helping others to have a better life and so gravitated towards working in public service. Her life's goal was to help make this world a better place.
She was quick with a smile and provided all with a delicious meal and thoughtful conversation.
She will be greatly missed by all of her friends, neighbours, and family.
Please come join us to celebrate her life at the Eagles Hall, Ladysmith, BC on February 25th from 12-3.
There will be tea and coffee with a light lunch provided. In Lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to your favourite cause.
