Carlene Elizabeth Marentes of Duncan, BC, passed away peacefully at Sunridge Place on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 86 years old. She was the loving mother of Allan Marentes and Rick Marentes. She will be dearly missed by her one grandchild, Belle Marentes and lovingly remembered by her sister, Jean McKenna, and brother-in-law Ross (Dennie) Lohmaier. She was predeceased by her husband Obe Marentes (1991) and her son Bobby Marentes (1971). Carlene was born in Cadomin, AB. She spent 45 years working as a registered nurse. She was married to Obe Marentes in 1969. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Sands Funeral Chapel at 187 Trunk Road in Duncan, BC, on Thursday October 3, 2019 at 2 pm.
