Roy was born/raised in Rouyn-Noranda Quebec, where he lived his first 20 years before moving to BC in 1967 and BC remained his home next 57 years. Roy loved to travel, and spent most of his retirement, traveling with his 5th wheel, winters in Arizona, and summers traveling across Canada, to spend time with family in BC, Alberta and Ontario. In 2011 he bought his first Harley Davidson which became another passion of his, so much so at one time he had four Harley's in the garage, two options to ride for him and two for his beloved wife Shireen.
I would like to make a special Thank you/Appreciation to Matthew McGregor; for the loving and dignified care he provided for his grandfather in his last days.
His family is asking that in lieu of flowers a donation could be made to Dying with Dignity or Oceanside Hospice Society.
Interment was at Yates funeral home www.yatesmemorial.ca
