Bruce passed away peacefully on September 13, in Campbell River BC.
He is survived by his daughter Tanya Johnston, his son Shawn Hayhurst (Shaye), his brother Ken (Joyce) Hayhurst, and his grandchildren, Mahayla, Jacob, Cole, and Shiloh as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bruce is predeceased by his son Michael Hayhurst, his parents, Robert and Margaret Hayhurst, his brothers, Bobby, Donny, Jack, David, and sister Gloria.
Bruce lived life on his own terms. Always a lover of the outdoors, Bruce enjoyed nothing more than spending his time in nature and enjoying a cold beer. One of his best qualities was his sense of humour and the ability to make those around him laugh. He will be missed.
