Bruce was born in Swan River, Manitoba, on April 6th, 1956. He passed away peacefully on June 29th.
His strong Catholic Faith (family and friends) helped him through his earthly journey.
Bruce was predeceased by his baby brother Richard (1952) brother Robert (2006), his father Adolf (2006) and mother Alice (2015).
Bruce is survived by his wife Yvonne of 41years, daughter Coralee, son Jeremy, daughter-in-law Bjaankka and their children Alana and Ethan.
Bruce and his family are deeply grateful for the huge support given from St. Patrick's Catholic community, family and friends near and far. The family also like to acknowledge the care and dedication of: Father Jan Grotkowski, the cancer care team in Victoria and Campbell River, and Dr. Simon Fridericks and Dr. Pete Fridericks.
Bruce will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his large heartedness and selfless giving of his talents and time to help anyone in need, strong work ethic, love for travel and story telling.

A funeral service was held on Friday July 3rd at 11 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
