Brad is survived by his loving wife, Sherry, of 18 years. His 3 children, Jeannie, John and Joannie (Andrew), 3 step-children, Dawn (Rob), Kimberly (Tyson) and Jordan, as well as many very loved grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 8 siblings - 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
Brad is predeceased by both his father, John, in Jan. 1982, and mother, Betty, in Dec. 2014. He is also predeceased in 2003 by his first wife, Shirley, of 34 years.
Brad was an autobody technician for 35 years. He learned the trade in London, Ont., moved in the 1980's to Alberta for approximately 17 years and found his way to Campbell River, B.C., in the 1990's, where he opened his own auto body shop, called New Bridge Body Shop.
Brad happily retired in 2003, whereafter you could find him often with a fishing rod in his hand and a smile on his face. He also had a passion for garage sales, and buying and selling. Brad made a friend wherever he would go.
A graveside service will be held on June 3 for family, immediately followed by a celebration of life at Baptist Church (260 S. Dogwood St) at 1 pm where everyone is welcome to attend.
