It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Bjorn Cameron Muldal.
Bjorn was born in North Vancouver and had many adventures growing up on the North Shore. After a few years at UBC he found his way to Saltspring Island where he met and married Carol Millsip. They moved to Honolulu, HI where he worked in the ship yard. He became a skilled marine carpenter and worked on many vessels over his career. In 1974 they moved in California where he worked briefly in San Diego and Sausalito harbours. Eventually they settled in Fort Bragg and purchased a piece of raw land. Together they built a home while raising daughters Fern and Eden. In 1989 they moved to the Comox Valley where he worked in Real Estate and then general contracting. Bjorn was an avid reader and had a passion for History. He was an amazing storyteller and had equally amazing stories to tell. He enjoyed working on his property and gardening, always tinkering around with something. He was a loyal friend and will be missed by many.
Bjorn is pre-deceased by his parents Sigmund and Helen Charlotte and Sister Elizabeth Muldal. He is survived by Carol Muldal, daughter's Eden (Cam) and Fern Grammar (Neal), and Granddaughter's Lauren and Peyton. He leaves behind his two furry companions, Daisy and Custard. May he rest in peace.
