With great sadness we announce the passing of our parents, Beverly Diane Harper and Gavin Thomas Harper. After a short battle with cancer, Beverley passed away Oct. 31, 2018 and shortly after, Gavin passed away from a broken heart on Nov. 21, 2018.
Having lived most of their lives on Vancouver Island, they met in Victoria at a young age and were married shortly after. They celebrated 60 years of marriage together and raised four children. Former owners of the Prairie Inn in Central Saanich. They enjoyed raising and racing horses, living on their farm on Bryn Road. Eventually moving to Cowichan Bay, then to Duncan and then the last 9 years they had moved to Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.
Survived by their siblings and four children; Doran (Andrea), Dean, Darla (Craig), Dale (April) and many grandkids and great grandkids.
They will be sadly missed by their family and all their friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Army & Navy in Sidney, BC on Saturday, July 20th from 1 pm to 3 pm.
