In Loving Memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverley Dianne Laplante, who left us peacefully on December 21, 2024, at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni, B.C.
Born on March 16, 1939, in Calgary, Alberta, Beverley lived a full and adventurous life. She began her career as a stewardess for TWA, where she met and married her first husband, Thomas Kellough. Together, they moved to the serene shores of Sproat Lake in Port Alberni, where Beverley dedicated herself to raising their two children and later working as a teacher's aide for the Port Alberni School Board.
In 1980, Beverley found love again and married her second husband, Bill Laplante. The two shared a passion for RV adventures, and enjoying a comfortable life together.
Beverley's legacy lives on through her family: Dean Kellough (Michelle) and Dale Kellough, and her cherished grandchildren, Daylan, Janaya, and Meredith. She will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, strength, and zesty conversations.
Honoring Beverley's wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family encourages those who knew her to remember her in their own way, celebrating the beautiful life she lived.
She will be deeply missed
but forever loved.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the Dr.'s and nurses at the West Coast General Hospital for their care and kindness.
