"MOM" was predeceased by her brother Edward, and husband Lloyd.
She is survived by son Barry (Kerry) and daughter Linda (Terry) Budzak plus 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Born in Vancouver, lived in Victoria, Port Alberni, Campbell River, and Qualicum. She worked at the original Willows Hotel in Campbell River, and the Empress in Victoria, and was a retail business owner in Port Alberni and Campbell River, creating from an old school house the original Ocean Grove Store, in Campbell River with her husband Lloyd.
She enjoyed her friends from the store, The Native Daughters, the Anglican Church, the Legion, the Campbell River aviation community, her bridge club and golf. Betty was a reluctant co-pilot on their flights south, and an enthusiastic fisher woman in Campbell River.
Most of her life was spent in Campbell River and it was always home to her.
