Betty (Noble) Todesco passed away June 27th in Duncan, BC. She was the centre of our lives and will be dearly missed. She lived a full and happy 93 years.

Like her mother, Betty was honest, open-minded, and never self-serving. Like her father, she had the gift of Irish humour, delivering quick one-liners with a sparkle in her eye.

Betty was a smart, pretty young woman when she met Peter, the love of her life and her "prince charming". He fell for her at first sight. She was married to him for 63 years and she dedicated her life to him and her four children; Peter, Maureen (Kelly), Tom and Roxanne (Sturdy).

She began her exemplary professional life working for the Imperial Oil Company. Later in her career she worked at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. In her semi-retirement, she lived in BC and worked for the Town of Sidney.

Betty was also very artistic and pursued sketching, pastels and calligraphy. During her lifetime, she enjoyed travelling through N. America and Europe.

Betty was always brave in life and was loving and attentive towards her family and friends. She was interested in you as an individual and was quick to remind you of your value as a human being.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her beloved sister, Norma. She is preceded in death by: her Father - Earl Noble, her mother - Hazel Noble, and her husband - Peter Todesco.

A memorial reception will be held at her son's home at 221 Superior Street, Victoria, between 3 and 5 pm on Thursday, July 19th.
