Born on September 11, 1930 in Vancouver and passed away peacefully on January 27, 2018 in Nanaimo.

Betty was happily married to Duncan Morrison Galbraith for 52 years until he passed away in  December 2003. Mom & Dad enjoyed the Air Force life where they were stationed in Clinton, Gimili, Saskatoon, and Cold Lake, while raising their three sons Douglas (Tammy), Glenn (Denise) and Alan (Jennifer). Betty loved her 9 grand children - Devon, Keith, Jacob, Kent, MaryJane, SeanPatrick, Ryan, Logan, Brittan and 2 great grandchildren Sean and Tyler.

When Dad retired from the Air Force in 1970, they moved back to Parksville. Betty and Duncan won their first cruise to Alaska in a contest from Woodwards and went on to enjoy several more cruises. Betty loved her family life, she excelled in cooking, and was always doing a variety of crafts that included rug hooking, needle point, knitting and crocheting squares for a new blanket.

Betty would frequently visit Milner Gardens in Qualicum Beach, where she made new friends and enjoyed talking to the staff and visitors.

Betty is predeceased by her parents, Charles H. Little and Annie Little (Dole), and brother Ron (Jean).

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Woodgrove Manor for their loving care of Betty.
