It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Marion Dryburgh announce that she completed her life on July 12, 2022, in Qualicum Beach, BC.
Marion passed away peacefully with her husband and her daughter by her side. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour.
Marion is survived by her loving husband, Jack, her daughter Karen (Brent), and her two sisters Ruth (Wesley), and Evelyn. She also leaves behind stepchildren Rochelle (Mark) and Glen (Brandi), and seven grandchildren.
There were so many wonderful things about Marion. In particular, she had a deep love for her husband and daughter. Both have so many great memories of her. Marion had a great sense of humour and she was very creative and caring. Those who knew her will forever remember Marion's passion for beauty in nature as they visit the many Vancouver Island beaches that she loved.
Marion's family would like to thank all the staff who worked so hard to care for her at the Gardens at Qualicum Beach. A small memorial will be held at a later date.
