Barbara, a resident of Courtenay, passed away peacefully at North Island Hospital in Courtenay, BC on January 13, 2020.
She was predeceased by her mother Jean Knudtson, husband Henry Schneider and son Barry Schneider. Barbara is survived by her son Brian (Donna) Schneider; daughters Brenda (Harry) Robinson and Bonnie-Jean (Joe) Demoe; Alison Schneider Kirkwood (Barry's Widow); grandchildren Tara Braun, Scott Robinson, Kyla Schneider, Kate Kennedy, Rachel Schneider, Brad Demoe and Jason Demoe; great-grandchildren Tyler and Lucas Braun, Sophia & Beau deGraaf, and Amelia Kennedy; brothers Doug Brunner (Margaret-Rose), and Richard Brunner, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Barbara was a wife to an Airforce Veteran, and lived all across Canada and Germany. She worked at Glacier View Lodge for 23 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening and camping.
