Barbara Elaine Drake passed away on April 14, 2018 at the age of 74 surrounded by family.
Barb was the last surviving sibling and predeceased by her parents, Francis and Margaret, brothers Henry, Francis, Charlie, Douglas, Allan, sisters Vera, Grace and Margaret, and son Donald March.
She leaves behind her children Vicky (Jim) Lagos, Wayne Gareau, Lisa (Tim) Ripka, Laurence Drake and Dorothy Drake (George Hunt).€ She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Robert (Veronica) Price, Jason (Chandele) Price, Kaitlyn Lagos (Nolan), Taber Ripka, Brennan Drake (Alysha) Tristen Drake, Kaleb Nadeau, Kwinkwa and Victoria Hunt. Great-grandchildren; Colin, Carter, Taya and Odyn Price, also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Barb enjoyed her time watching wrestling with Wilf & Sue, bingo and giving Al a hard time at the casino. We would like to thank Dr. Verapin and staff at the Campbell River Hospital for their compassionate care during Mom's time in the hospital. We would also like to thank the KDC Health for all their support.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, 1 pm at the Thunderbird Hall.
