Passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Glenda, daughter Gale, brothers John and Gordon, 2 grandsons, extended family of 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son, Charles.
Gus was born in Gainsborough, Ontario and grew up in Aldergrove, BC. He moved to Campbell River in 1965 where he worked in the Logging Industry. He worked in Gold River as a faller for many years before retiring in 1998. After retiring he spent many years as a Commercial fisherman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1999 14th Avenue, Campbell River, BC, on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2 pm.
