Audrey Loewen

July 10, 1932 - July 24, 2022
Audrey passed away peacefully in Cerwydden Care Home in Duncan, BC, on Saturday July 24th, 2022 at the age of 90.
She is survived by son Kirk Van-Beer who lives in Ontario, daughter Dreda Van-Beer, grand daughter Ricci-Lee and great grandchildren Leni and Marv, all in England. Also survived by sister Jacquie Baldwin in Prince George, BC.
Audrey was born in Palmerstone North, New Zealand on July 10th, 1932. She married William (Bill) Loewen later in life and eventually they moved to Duncan where Audrey was manager of a Motel for awhile. She volunteered as book keeper etc. for St. Peters Church and made many friends in the community.
Audrey was a good friend to have! She was a debutante in high school, a book lover and loved walks in the garden.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at St Peter's Church off Maple Bay Rd. on Thursday, August 25th at 1:00 PM followed by refreshments in the church hall.
