Audrey "Fay" Beasley

June 6, 1927 - October 28, 2019
It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Fay in Comox, BC on Monday, October 28th in the loving arms of her devoted granddaughter April.
Fay is predeceased by her parents George and Kitty Perry, her sister Mary (Russ) Miler, her brother Doug (Maisie) Perry, nephew John Miller and the love of her life Doug Beasley who passed in 2013.
She is lovingly survived by her children; Wayne (Pam) Beasley, Alic (Sandy) Beasley, Joan (Doug) Berndt, and Tim (Gitta Will) Beasley, her grandchildren; April (Bryan) Hofman, Tom Salter, Mike (Jenn) Beasley and Karyn Beasley, her great grandchildren; Shyana Hofman, Violet Beasley and Dahlia Fay Beasley, the family's newest addition whom Fay was so pleased to meet and hold the day before her passing. Fay is also survived by her brother John (Margaret, deceased), lovingly referred to as her "baby brother", nephews; Jim Perry, Sam Perry, Peter Miller, Terrence Miller, niece Cathy Lavallee, lifelong best friend Rose
"Helen" Skobin, and loving family friend Jenny Nylund.
Fay took great pride in her work as a Florist for years and enjoyed gardening, puzzles and her monthly "lunch bunch" meetings. She and Doug loved to travel and also enjoyed camping. Fay was an avid volunteer and board member with Santa's Workshop for over 25 years. She would spend the whole year collecting goodies for the following Christmas season and loved making her gift baskets for children with her beautiful homemade bows.
We will miss Fay's glowing smile, incredible sense of humour, sage advice and supportiveness. Her thoughtfulness was never-ending, and she never missed sending a greeting for a birthday or anniversary.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Darryl Macleod who went above and beyond in caring for Fay. We would also like to thank the nurses and care staff at Comox Valley Hospice, most especially Liz, who so lovingly cared for Fay in her final hours.
Please join the family in a Celebration of Fay's Life on Friday, November 8th at 3 pm at the Comox Valley Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 1101 Ryan Road Courtenay, BC.
