Art passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 28, 2021. He is survived by Maureen, his wife of 32 years, and his first wife Glenda of 26 years, three children: Debbie, Shelley, and Allan (Sarah), two stepchildren Eric and Cheryl, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Art was born in Victoria, BC and went on to raise a family in both Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
He made his start as a logger/faller, then as a loader operator on the Swiftsure Prince log barge until his retirement. He was an avid pool player, liked to hunt and fish, play baseball, and loved to golf. Art also enjoyed camping with his family all over the Island area. Later enjoying many years at Rock Bay where he took his stepchildren and grandchildren and enjoyed their many potlucks and fishing derbies.
He was a proud man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. There will be a small family gathering at a later date.
