It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, husband and grandfather Tony, on the morning of Feb.9th 2019 at Cerwydden Care Home in Duncan B.C. Married in 1959 for 59 years, survived by his wife Antonietta, sons Robert,Roy, Dennis, grandchildren Christina and Nicky and his brother Bruno in Italy.

Born in San Vito , al Tagliamento, P.P. Friuli, Italy Worked on the family farm, served 15 months in the military as an Alpini in the Italian Alps, immigrated to Canada in 1956 at 25 years old and immediately went to work for B.C.F.P. at Caycuse in the logging industry then became a carpenter, then a watchman until retirement in 1989 after 35 years. Built the family home in Lake Cowichan in 1968 and raised a family. Dads hobbies were his garden, wine making, fishing and hunting, mushroom foraging, social time at the Senior Centre playing cards, billiards, carpet bowling and volunteering his time with kitchen duties. A member of the Duncan Italian club for 30 years, a passionate player of

Italian cards and a bocce ball competitor.

The family would like to thank the staff members of Cerwydden Care Home for the wonderful care he received, and we were much comforted knowing he was very well looked after at all times. Also, to thank Dr. Postuk for his years of caring for dad. The last 3 years dad wasn't able to speak but was able to communicate with his eyes and smile to his caregivers.
