In Loving Memory ~
After a brief illness, Tony passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gabrielle Montebello in Duncan, B.C., daughters Louise Laforet of Edmonton, AB, and Anne (Sturdee) Arden of Victoria, B.C., sons George Montebello of Victoria and Paul (Brenda) Montebello of Duncan, and eight grandchildren Lucas (Carmen), Tamarra, Jacob, Cameron, Joseph, Mathew, Anthony, and Saige.
Tony was born and raised in Malta and immigrated to Canada on April 19, 1955, via the boat Olympia in Halifax, N.S. He worked as an electrician at the Powell River pulp and paper mill until his retirement in 1992.
Tony was a hard worker and always had a project on the go at home or in his garden, where he loved to grow tomatoes!
A service will be held in Duncan at 10 a.m. on May 20 at St. Edward's Parish.
