Ann Morrison passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 83 years.

Predeceased by her husband Dave, son Wayne, grandsons Erik and Allan.

Survived by her children Teresa (Gordon), Alecia (Curtis), Keith (Krista), Carol (Mike) and Connie; her daughter in law Faith; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister Peggy, her brother George; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Born and raised in the lower mainland, she went to school and received her degree in psychiatric nursing and then married Dave in 1956. In 1958 they moved to the Alberni Valley where Ann became a full time mother and embraced her new community.

She was one of the first Sunshine Club members in 1967 when she, along with her father joined - at that time a person did not have to be over 50 - she received her life time membership to the Sunshine Club in 1993.

Ann loved being involved in Echo Centre and was frequently there getting involved with all the activities and classes. A wonderful seamstress, she sewed the wedding dresses as well as all bridesmaid dresses for her daughter's weddings. Always busy around the home her family remembers fondly that Monday was bread making day, she made the best bread ever.

Ann will be remembered as an amazing, talented, kind, welcoming person who was so loved by all she touched. She passed with dignity in the same way that she lived her life.
