It's with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew John Pendergast, on July 1st, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Andy was born on July 17th 1951 in Tunbridge Wells England. He is survived by his loving wife Loraine of 46 years and his children Lee (Chelsea), Rhiannon (Chris) and his Grandchildren Coen and Quinlyn. Andy also leaves behind his siblings Laurie (Susan) Linda, Jeff (Sharon), Carol (Jake), Bev (Reg) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Father Lawrence Sr. and Mother Peggy.
Andy was a logger that worked in Campbell River for 44 years, he had many great friends in the logging industry. Andy was always the first one to lend a hand to friends and neighbours, this desire to help his fellow man saw him spending many years as a member of the Oyster River Volunteer Fire Department. Andy will be fondly remembered for his love of classic rock, trivia, furniture refinishing, and his terrific sense of humour.
A service will be held at a later date due to Covid 19 restrictions.
