It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we would like to announce the sudden passing of Andre Gustaaf Lund. He was taken from us on Thursday June 7th, 2018 in Campbell River, BC.
Andre was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 16th, 1972 to Gail Lund and the late Gus Lund. He moved to Gabriola Island at the young age of 6 months where he enjoyed the small island life until reaching his 20s.
After leaving Gabriola, he moved to Campbell River, where he worked tirelessly to support his family by working as a convenience store owner, a construction worker, and then a software developer for Canon.
Andre is predeceased by his father Gus Lund. He is survived by his mother Gail Lund, his brother Gerhard Lund, his children Kayla and Aidan Lund, his girlfriend Kim Bellas and her daughter Santaya, and his children's mother Cristine Lund. As well as many extended family members and friends.
Andre had a genuine, charismatic soul. His energy was infectious, his kindness without limits, and he had a smile that could light up a room, anyone that met him was instantly drawn in by his charm and wit and considered him a friend.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all.
