Our dear Alma (Renz, nee Stroschein), loved by so many, is now walking somewhere over the rainbow. Words cannot express how she will be missed by family and friends. Mother to Nelson (Georgeann), Ronald (Roberta) and Deborah (George), Grandmother to Ryan and Robert (Kassandra), Sister to Elfrede and Hannelore, Aunt to Wilfred, Heinjo, John, Loretta, Peggy, and Jutta.
Walking with her now on the white sandy beaches and soft green meadows of paradise are Herbert her husband of 65 years, her mother Rebekka, her sister Isolde, and many dear old friends, and her dearest friend of recent years, Marlene.
From Tarutino, Romania, near the shores of the Black Sea; to Germany; to Calgary, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; to B.C's lower mainland and to Courtenay on beautiful Vancouver Island, Alma has travelled far and created welcoming homes in many places.
She also loved visiting friends and family, and many wonderful memories remain of her visits to Nelson and Georgeann, Ryan and Rob, in St. Albert, Alberta; Ron and Roberta in Lawrence, Kansas; Deborah and George in Union Bay, BC; and her mother and sisters in Sundre, Alberta. We will all be thinking of her as we soon share Christmas family gatherings. Her exuberant spirit will be with us all.
She loved travelling to beautiful places ... Europe, Mexico, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and her most favourite destination with Dad, Hawaii.
We send her on her next Journey with all the love and blessings of our hearts.
