January 19, 1926 - November 27, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Alma Anne Dornian (nee Clarke) at Fir Park Village on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the age of 93 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her sister, Irene (Henry) Smood; children, Deanna (Jack), Heather (Dale), Ken (Jackie), Darlene (Tim). Her Grandchildren Vicki, Jim (Nene), Rob, Teresa (Steve), Marty (Leah) and Chrissy (Greg), Andrea (Brad); 13 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; cousin, Gertie Courtney; and extended family, Brenda Kraneveldt, Leanna Dornian.
Mom was predeceased by husband, Arthur on January 9, 2018.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lund, Dr. Ean Smit, the Nurses and CHW's at Rainbow Gardens Assisted Living, and the Nurses and CHW's at Fir Park Village for the good care they gave Mom where she spent her last days. A Very Special Thanks to Mom's "Special Friend" Tracey our family thank you for all your help with Mom over the years, Mom always enjoyed your visits.
A Private Family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour mom's memory may do so by making a donation in her name to Fir Park Village/Echo Village Foundation.
