With sadness, we announce the passing of Aline Josephine L'Heureux on Monday, November, 14th, 2022 in her home in Port Alberni.
Aline is survived by her children, Donald (Rose), Ernest (Abbie), Roger, and Dianne (Andy); grandchildren, Justin, Chad, Jaslyn, Daniel, Enrrique; sister, Rita; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Stan and parents, Louis and Eva Orieux.
Born in Pascal, Saskatchewan, she married Stan in 1955 and together they had four children. The family moved to be in Port Alberni in 1970. Aline kept herself busy raising her children and volunteering. The time she spent volunteering at the Holy Family Notre Dame Church, Friendly Phone Service, Sunshine Club, Fir Park Village and the Salvation Army filled her days with joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December, 9th, 2022 at the Salvation Army, 4835 Argyle Street in Port Alberni.
Those wishing to honour Aline's memory may do so by making a donation in her name to Ty Watson House or the Salvation Army in Port Alberni.
