Mom left us to soar with the eagles that perched in the trees across the street. She would check everyday to see if they were "visiting".
Mom was born in Worcester, England and attended Whitelands College in London England where she did her teaching certificate.
She married Arthur (Dick) Beedle in 1943. They emigrated to Vancouver in 1953 with their 3 children and moved to Comox in 1980 just before Dad retired.
She was always active, curious, loved to learn and would tire her children and grandchildren out with her love of life and the need to do things. Mom and Dad travelled extensively and she always had a bird book and plant book with her wherever she went. Her garden was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Bob) Beedle (Sharon), daughters Joan MacDonald (Colin) and Bronwen Beedle (Peter), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Many thanks to the caregivers from Nurse Next Door who not only were the regular caregivers but also became the palliative care staff.
There will be no service by Mom's request.
