Born to Agnes and Alexander Walker, the second eldest of seven siblings, Albert's first home was Solly's farm in Westholme. In 1946 the family moved to their own homestead where they have remained ever since.
Albert worked as a logger as well as with the CN railroad and finally as a longshoreman for many years until his retirement. Throughout his life he was also a hard working farmer growing many tons of potatoes and carrots annually.
A kind and gentle man, he loved solitude, the outdoors, hiking and animals with a special affinity for cats. Beloved brother and Uncle, Albert will be dearly missed by siblings Sandy and Rose Walker and his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
