Agnes Cotton

October 28, 1927 - November 4, 2020
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother. Mom was born in Loughheed, Alberta, being the second of six siblings. She attended Camrose Luther College and eventually moved to Edmonton, where she met and married our dad, Francis. She would say her biggest and most proud accomplishment was raising seven children. Mom was active in many volunteer groups in Nanaimo; Sons of Norway, Bowen Seniors, Widows Group, Special Olympics, Friendship Group and enjoyed her work with We Care. Mom is predeceased by her husband of 50 years (Francis), son Marvin, and grandson Chris, and being survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff at Kiwanis House and Lodge for the wonderful care mom received over the years. A short service with be held at Christ Community Church on Friday, Nov 13 at 11am.
