Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother Passed away peacefully at Kiwanis Lodge.
Aase is predeceased by her husband Erling, survived by son Ole (Sue) Daughters Lisbeth and Sandra (Barry); Grandchildren Michael, Andrew, Anika, Julia, Heidi, Daniel and Nicholas and great grandchildren Davin, Ansen, Oriah, Odin, Katie, Isaac, Piper, Ellah and Christian.
Aase was born in Copenhagen Denmark and emigrated to Canada in 1957 with her husband and 2 children and finally Settled in Nanaimo in 1966. Aase was a stay at home Mom and helped her Husband with his Carpentry business.
Aase was an avid sports fan who loved the Vancouver Canucks up until the day she died. She was also an active bowler in her earlier years Belonging to several leagues at Fiesta Lanes.
Aase was loved by everyone who knew her..she had an infectious Laugh and a witty sense of humor. She will be missed by many.
Many thanks to all of the staff at Kiwanis Lodge for taking such Good care of Aase in her last days. We would also like to Thank her long time doctor Dr. Uchman...her specialist Dr. Dabu And most recently Dr. Ockelford.
There will be no service at this time - A Celebration of Life will Be held at a later date.
