In loving memory of Aaltje (Ali) Pater. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Aaltje Pater at the age of 94. Aaltje was born in Barneveld, Netherlands, married Willem Pater on August 19, 1949 moved to Ont. Canada in June 1950 then to Port Alberni in Sept. 1962 where they happily lived out their days.
Aaltje is predeceased by Willem as well as 3 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by 5 sisters and her 6 children. Ryk (Laura), Albert (Anna), Nelis, John, Wilma, Bev (Bob) 20 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be on Thursday the 20th at 11am at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Coffee and snacks will be Wednesday the 19th at 1 pm at 5088 Mary St.
