A warrant has been issued for a Nanaimo woman who broke the terms of her release from prison less than a week after getting out.

Nanaimo RCMP, in a press release last week, advised they are on the lookout for 45-year-old Courtenay Cross of Nanaimo.

Cross was released from prison Dec. 16 after serving a 27-month sentence for drug trafficking. She had been approved to stay at a residence in Nanaimo, but five days after her release she left and her current location is unknown.

Cross is 5-foot-6 and 120 pounds. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
