A Nanaimo teen who was considered a missing person for a month has been found safe and sound.

Nanaimo RCMP reported today, April 28, that the 17-year-old girl who was reported missing March 26 “has been located safe and sound and her family has been notified.”

Mary Cyprich was reported missing in late March and police said she was believed to be travelling with a man in his 30s. RCMP released a vehicle description, then later said they didn’t know in what sort of vehicle the two were travelling. A further update showed Cyprich and the man at a Vancouver transit station.
