The famed puppet shows by Heritage Interpreters are back at the Museum at Campbell River starting July 7.
This year the puppet shows will take place on Zoom and Facebook Live to avoid gatherings at the museum and to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Shows will be online at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be accessed free of cost. The puppets can be found on Facebook at @crmuseumpuppets.
Heritage Interpreters will also provide a craft demonstration following the show and craft packs can be picked up weekly at the museum’s reception desk.

The cost of the weekly packages is by donation, with a $5 suggested donation, and it will include access to a Zoom link for the live show and craft tutorial.
In addition to virtual puppet theater performances, the Heritage Interpreters are also conducting Wilderness Wednesdays and Feature Fridays as part of their digital programming for summer.
Wilderness Wednesday provides children with fun worksheets and videos each week that encourages families to engage with local history and natural heritage.
Feature Friday highlights documentaries, films, and interviews to learn more about the history of North Vancouver Island and the people who have lived here.
