Oceanside RCMP received 273 complaints the week of Aug. 14 to Aug. 20.
Some of the incidents included:
Aug. 14
• A nighttime prowler was reported in the 200 block of Dendoff Point Road, Qualicum Beach.
• Two prowlers were reported in the 2800 block of Northwest Bay Road, Nanoose Bay.
• A community centre window was reported broken with a rock in the 2900 block of Northwest Bay Road, Nanoose Bay.
Aug. 15
• A business LED board and sign was reported vandalized in the 3000 block of Van Horne Road, Qualicum Beach.
• B.C. licence plate WML94S was reported stolen from a boat trailer in the 100 block of Burne Road, Bowser.
• Washrooms were reported tagged with graffiti at a youth camp site in the 700 block of Despard Avenue East, Parksville.
• A 4DRC drone was found in the 900 block of Riley Road, Parksville, on Aug. 13 and reported on Aug. 15. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.
• An Apple iPhone 12 was found on Deep Bay Drive, Bowser, in July and reported on Aug. 15. Contact Oceanside RCMP during business hours to claim.
Aug. 16
• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a motorhome in the 1700 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs.
Aug. 17
• A thief was reported to have entered a business rear storage room and stole a purse containing personal belongings of an employee in the 100 block of Harrison Avenue, Parksville.
• A vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 800 block of Fairway Drive, Qualicum Beach.

Aug. 18
• Two vandals were reported smashing glass bottles in a parking lot of the 300 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 700 block of Arrowsmith Way, Parksville. The vehicle was recovered the next day with damage to ignition and a window was broken.
Aug. 19
• A motorhome window was reported broken in the 2100 block of Errington Road, Errington.
Aug. 20
• A nighttime prowler was reported in the 500 block of Stanford Avenue East, Parksville.
• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at Virginia Road and Alberni Highway, Coombs.
