PQB crime report: 2 apprehended for vandalizing inside of transit bus in Parksville

Oceanside RCMP received 354 complaints the week of June 26 to July 2.

Some of the incidents included:

June 27

• A business break-and-enter was reported in the 2200 block of Fowler road, Qualicum Beach. A window was broken and cash missing.

• Prowlers were reported in the 3000 block of Raymur Place, Qualicum Beach.

• A bonsai plant was reported stolen from the backyard in the 400 block of Yambury Road, Qualicum Beach.

• A transit bus was reported vandalized in Parksville. Two males were apprehended for spraying the interior with paint.

June 28

• A grey Cyber Beach Cruiser bicycle was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Resort Drive, Parksville.

• A Jackson Versa BBQ, a fire bowl in a bag, small propane tanks, two seater camping chair, tarp with poles, camp mat and a flashlight were reported stolen in the 1000 block of Sabine Road, Parksville.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 100 block of Finholm Street, North, Parksville.

• Rear B.C licence plate Z30117 was reported stolen from a motorcycle in the 1100 block of Franklin Gulls Way, Parksville.

• A prowler was reported in the 400 block of Stanford Avenue, Parksville.

June 29

• Rear B.C. licence plate Y46114 was reported lost from a motorcycle in the 500 block of Gilbert Road, Qualicum Beach.

• Front B.C. licence plate JL210R was reported missing from a vehicle in the French Creek Marina, Parksville.

• Rear B.C. licence plate Z30123 was reported missing from a motorcycle in the 200 block of Corfield Street South, Parksville.

June 30

• A Canada Post mailbox was reported vandalized in the 600 block of Qualicum Road, Qualicum Beach. No entry was reported gained.

• A black-and-yellow Ping golf bag containing Taylor Made irons and other clubs were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Hirst Avenue West, Parkville.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the area of Kaplar Road and Parker Road.

• A set of hearing aids were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach.

• One or two prowlers were reported in the 600 block of Pioneer Crescent, Parksville.

July 1

• Two prowlers was reported in the 1600 block of Leffler Road, Errington, on July 1.

• Front B.C. licence plate RD771F was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Turnbull Road, Qualicum Beach.

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 1000 block of Herring Gull Way, Parksville.

• B.C. licence plates 2389GR were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Turnbull Road, Qualicum Beach.

• A prowler was reported in the 1100 block of Coldwater Road, Parksville.
