PQB crime report: 1948 Indian brand motorcycle stolen in Whiskey Creek

Oceanside RCMP deal with 257 complaints in one-week period

Oceanside RCMP received 257 complaints the week of June 19 to June 25.

Some of the incidents included:

June 19

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Joshua Tree Place, Parksville.

June 20

• Rear B.C. licence plate HF8871 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Sixth Avenue West, Qualicum Beach.

• Rear B.C. licence plate NE5911 was reported missing from a vehicle in the 600 block of Pym Street, Parksville.

• Rear B.C. licence plate J40559 was reported stolen from a motorcycle in the 1200 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.

June 21

• A 1948 red Indian brand motorcycle and a 2004 block Buell brand motorcycle were reported stolen in the 3800 block of Melrose Road, Whiskey Creek.

June 22

• Rear B.C. licence plate SA0041 was reported missing from a vehicle in the 200 block of Rupert Road East, Qualicum Beach.

• Rear B.C. licence plate WNJ08F was reported stolen from a boat trailer in the 2100 block of Errington road, Errington.

• A case of mischief was reported in the 4600 block of Maple Guard Drive, Bowser. A decorative bridge was reported overturned.

• Personal documents and a debit card were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Ash Crescent, Parksville.

• Rear B.C. licence plate UYC14G was reported stolen from a boat trailer in the 3800 block of Horne Lake Caves Road, Qualicum Beach.

• Front B.C. licence plate RJ9219 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Corfield Street South, Parksville, on June 22.

June 23

• A vehicle was reported vandalized in the area of Claymore Road and Fulmar Road, Qualicum Beach.

• A grey-and-teal beach cart containing four chairs and a beach blanket were reported stolen in the 1000 block of Tanglewood Place, Parksville.

June 24

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Industrial Way, Parksville.

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Crabapple Crescent, Parksville.
