Oceanside RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 60-year-old man reported missing Sept. 12.

Ottavio Cutillo was last seen on Sept. 8. His 2006 red Toyota Yaris with B.C. licence plates MS5 98N was located by police near the old train station on the Alberni Highway in Parksville on Sept. 12.

All attempts to contact Cutillo have been unsuccessful. He is described as six-foot-two and 210 pounds, stocky, clean-shaven with short, cropped salt-and-pepper hair and is missing some teeth.

He usually wears darks clothes and is unsteady on his feet but frequents local walking beaches in Parksville and Qualicum Beach.

Family and police investigators are very concerned for Ottavio’s health and are asking that anyone who may have seen Ottavio over the last few days or has information about his current whereabouts to contact Oceanside RCMP at 250-248-6111, said Sgt. Shane Worth.
