No criminal activity as Comox Valley RCMP respond to third shots fired call in two days

Comox Valley RCMP responded to a third call in two days of shots being fired Monday night, but it turned out the call did not involve any criminal activity.

Reports indicated a part of Marsden Road was blocked off by police around 10:30 p.m. June 10. According to Const. Monika Terragni of the Comox Valley RCMP, members did attend the Marsden Road/Charter Road area for a call of shots being heard.

“Thankfully, members were able to speak with people in the area and identified a farmer who was working to keep starlings off his property.”
