A 23-year-old Nanaimo woman who didn’t move belongings out of her apartment as planned is now considered missing.

Nanaimo RCMP issued a press release asking for the public’s help in locating Kiana Gilroy-Diduck, who has not had any contact with her family since Oct. 1.

She was scheduled to move out of her apartment at the end of September; however, to date none of her belongings have been removed, the release noted. For these reasons, her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.

She is 5-foot-5, 100 pounds, with long brown hair and green eyes. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file No. 2022-34737.
